Recreation GuideYellow Springs, Ohio is located on the Little Miami Scenic Trail, 72 miles of paved recreational trails which extend 38 miles north of Urbana and 63 miles south to Milford. If you find yourself wanting to ride the Trail but without a bike, rent one at Corner Cone Dairy Bar & Grill. Public restrooms are available at Yellow Springs Station located at the north end of town on the bike path. Throughout the year there are street festivals, craft fairs, art festivals, book fairs and many other community events. Yellow Springs boasts a seasonal swimming pool, fishing pond, sports fields, tennis courts, Skate Park, live theatre groups, a chamber music series with national and international visiting performers, and an art house theatre . In addition, visitors may enjoy the various galleries located within the village. Take a peaceful walk through Glen Helen, a 1,000-acre nature preserve offering waterfalls, limestone cliffs, wooded areas, and the Yellow Spring. Hiking trails are open all year during daylight hours. Close by is Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve that has hiking trails through ancient rock formations.
