“Suffragists: And They Persisted!” Presentation!

On Sunday, September 15 at 2:00 pm at the YSAC Gallery, 111 Corry Street, to help celebrate the closing of the YSAC’s exhibit “Suffragists: And They Persisted – Art Quilts Celebrating the Passage of the 19th Amendment, Women’s Right to Vote, 1920” the Yellow Springs Historical Society will present a program on the suffragists – who they were, and what were the Yellow Springs and Ohio Connections. YS Historical Society board member and quilt artist Chris Zurbuchen, along with several other of the art quilt contributors, will cover the history of the quilt subjects. The program is open to the public and is free.  Light refreshments will be served.
